The Drumheller and District Museum Society has recently created a
centre focusing on the history of the valley. Beginning with the prehistoric dinosaurs.
The Interpretive Centre follows the history of the region through the times of the Ice
Age, Native Inhabitants, the first coal mines, and the Dinosaur hunters. |

L.A. Duncan Room The
Drumheller Valley Interpretive Centre has the great opportunity of housing the collection
of Mr. L.A. Duncan. This collection features a wealth of Natural Science and Creative art
objects, selected throughout the lifetime of Mr. Duncan. These exoctic and rare materials
include choice fossils from the ages, many of which were discovered in the west.
